What started as a blog to convince people we need a Democratic Congress has become one focused on needing a Congress and president who work for the People's interests, not corporations, Wall Street, Big Pharma, Big Oil, Big Agri & other special interests. That could mean supporting Independents, Greens & others if they demonstrate they'd put our interests first. And to that end, it's critical we nominate then elect Bernie Sanders president over Hillary Clinton.

Not Hiring Until Obama Is Gone
Eh. I'm not buyin' it. As my friend Tina Dupuy said, "If he needs workers, he'll hire them." And she's right. But he's a Republican. So what he'll do is secretly hire day laborers off the street corners, pay them substandard wages under the table, then plaster another sign on his other window bitching about how illegals are stealing our jobs.
For a deeper look into the hypocrisy of the Republican Party, as seen by party insider David Frum, read his awakening: When Did the GOP Lose Touch With Reality? (Pssst, a long time ago, David. We've been trying to tell you that for years. Thankfully you finally got it.)
Then go visit The 99% Action Center and start calling your Representatives in Congress to effect the change we want to see in this country.

they are all like that. I live in AL and before the Gov signed into law his immigration law all these rethuglicans were talking so much crap about Mexicans and the "illegals" but not that it's effecting THEM they want to find compassion and understanding on immigration. Hypocrites.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope this guy loses some business because of that sign, which sounds distinctly like a threat -- "Vote against Obama or we won't create jobs even if it's in our own interest."
ReplyDeleteWhatever business he's in, he must have competitors, including competitors whose business model doesn't include deliberately sabotaging the local economy out of hatred of a federal politician.
